Cousins Insurance Agency is a locally-owned, independent insurance agency located in Wetumpka, Alabama. We offer insurance protection for individuals, families and businesses in the Elmore and Tri-County communities.

Our History

Our agency was established in 1914 as Airey Insurance Agency. In 1962, Mr. Charles Cousins purchased the agency and changed the company’s name to Cousins Insurance Agency. After his passing, the agency was purchased by Mr. William M. Gray in 1975. Current owner, Joseph (Joe) D. Bennett, purchased the agency in 1993 and continues to operate the company as Cousins Insurance Agency, Inc.
